What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Government-issued photo ID and your unsigned documents. If witnesses are required, you may need to bring them unless otherwise arranged.
Can you tell me which documents I need or give legal advice?
No. I am not a licensed attorney and cannot provide legal advice or tell you what to sign. Please consult an attorney for legal questions.
Which areas do you serve?
Mobile services primarily cover Springfield, IL. and Sangamon County, with extended travel available for additional fees.
Do you offer after-hours or weekend appointments?
Yes, subject to availability and additional after-hours/weekend fees.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Card, Cash, and Venmo. However, deposits must be made by card or Venmo.
How does Remote Online Notarization (RON) work?
Secure online meeting through audio-visual technology (the signer and notary are in different physical locations), ID verification, and electronic signing (The document is electronic and signed and sealed electronically)
How does electronic (enotary) work?
Involves the signer and notary being in the same physical location; The notarization is performed electronically, but it happens face-to-face, verified ID, and electronic signing. (The document is digital, but the interaction is in person.)
What Forms of ID are accepted?
Federal and State issued ID’s, including: State issued Driver’s License, State issued ID card, U.S. Military ID Card, U.S. Passport, Permanent Resident ID card (green card), Foreign Passport (with current U.S. Visa. These must be current, and feature a photo and a signature.
